The Greater Michigan Prospects field spring teams at the peewee major 2013, peewee minor 2014, and squirt major 2015 levels. Practices will focus on individual on-ice development and off-ice athletic improvements.
Both youth boys and girls can apply for roster spots and potentially be selected for the teams. Each team roster has 9 forwards, 6 defenseman, and 2 goalies. Players are selected from the application process and Prospect Camps throughout the season. Selection priority will predominantly cater to players who attend the prospects camps.
Each player is required to purchase a reversible team jersey and provide their own solid black hockey socks of choice. This jersey is good for all Greater Michigan Prospects spring and summer programs.
It is recommended, but not mandatory that players stay in team hotels when competition is out of town. Team pre-game meetings and classroom usually take place in the team hotels.
