Championship History

prospects summer showcase hockey

The Greater Michigan Prospects summer showcase hockey program is designed to teach players how to compete like a Pro in a fun challenging environment. Players are taught to play Their Position and do Their Job.

The Greater Michigan Prospects have numerous years of Championship wins at all age levels. Showcase competition includes a combination of AAA/ Elite AA players and select teams. 4-5 games are played during each event.

APPLY TODAY TO RECEIVE PERIODIC UPDATED INFORMATION. WE WILL BE FORMING THE TEAMS VERY SOON AFTER FEBRUARY 17TH. EACH SHOWCASE IS $275 PER PLAYER.

The Greater Michigan Prospects field teams at the bantam 2011-12, peewee 2013-14, and squirt 2015-16 levels. Summer Showcase Hockey events consist of two birth year competition brackets. One team is constructed per age group. If there are enough talented players in each age bracket, two teams are formed in each specific birth year.

Each team roster has 9-10 forwards, 5-6 defenseman, and 2 goalies. Players are selected from the application process, prospect camps, level of play, and coaches recommendations.

Players can attend 1, 2, 3 or 4 showcases depending on roster availability and selection. Roster spots will cater to players attending numerous showcases to help improve team continuity. Each player is required to purchase a reversible team jersey and provide their own solid black hockey socks of choice. The new team jerseys are good year to year and for camps, master class, etc...

It is recommended, but not mandatory that players stay in team hotels when competition is out of town. Team pre-game meetings and classroom usually take place in the team hotels.
