The Greater Michigan Prospects field teams at the bantam 2011-12, peewee 2013-14, and squirt 2015-16 levels. Summer Showcase Hockey events consist of two birth year competition brackets. One team is constructed per age group. If there are enough talented players in each age bracket, two teams are formed in each specific birth year.
Both youth boys and girls can apply for roster spots and potentially be selected for the teams. Each team roster has 9 forwards, 6 defenseman, and 2 goalies. Players are selected from the application process and Prospect Camps throughout the season. Selection priority will predominantly cater to players who attend the prospects camps.
Players can attend 1, 2, 3, or 4 showcases depending on roster availability and selection. Each player is required to purchase a reversible team jersey and provide their own solid black hockey socks of choice.
It is recommended, but not mandatory that players stay in team hotels when competition is out of town. Team pre-game meetings and classroom usually take place in the team hotels.
